A native of North Carolina, Elizabeth is the mother of two girls and one Italian Greyhound. Lone Maple is her debut novel and was inspired by the local legends learned in her Appalachian childhood. A retired Navy-wife, she now resides with her husband and children in Wilmington, NC.
